Learn basic French . . . . . . . Which French WordsWho is Which French Words for really?
Which French Words directly addresses the problem that many English people have of learning technically and therefore not having the ability or confidence to fully use what they know. Which French Words starts by addressing sounds and pronunciation so that what is learnt is fully useable. We found, with experience, that young students were able to learn more quickly using Which French Words than other methods.
Where did Which French Words come from? Which French Words has been conceived and produced by a professional team from Fast Effective Solutions Limited. The project arose as a direct result of the personal experiences of Sue and Peter Shee when they moved to France. They now live permanently in the gentle rolling countryside of the Lot et Garonne department in the Aquitaine region of south west France. This is an area, just an hour from Bordeaux, full of vineyards, sunflowers, maize, woodland, fruit trees and cattle. The people of the region reflect the visual balance and peacefulness that surrounds them. Sue and Peter had very different language experience and very different learning approaches. Whilst Peter had basic language instruction at school his learning was based in science, economics and accounting. He has an almost complete inability to remember anything without a rational path. Whilst grammar came easily words were impossible. Sue, on the other hand, had no formal language training and therefore had the abject horror of coming across French verbs for the first time. The magnitude of the task presented to Sue appeared at first to be overwhelming and insuperable. Step one for Sue was months of solitary graft, having to learn from a book, without pronunciation, and writing list after list of words she needed to learn. If Which French Words had been available then it would have more than halved the work she had to do. The verbs section of Which French Words were produced by Peter for Sue to give an overview and understanding. They are what you would expect from a science background, concentrating on layout and patterns for easy understanding. The words of Which French Words were produced for both Peter and Sue to learn properly. The place names were produced so, as we drove through Paris, we could see where each bad driver came from! (department numbers form part of vehicle registration numbers) The recording voice is that of Sylviane Rambeau. Sylviane's family moved from Normandy to the Lot et Garonne in the late 40's. Sylviane herself worked for many years as a ballet teacher in Africa and has also worked in the middle east as well as traveling widely throughout Europe, Africa and Asia. She has even spent three weeks at an Arabian palace in Ascot. Sue's background is primarily in nursing, with an emphasis on hospice work, and latterly as a chef and restaurateur. Peter's background is accounting, consumer electronics retailing, sailing, land husbandry and reluctant restaurateur. His paternal grandmother came from Le Havre, Normandy. Sue and Peter now live near Duras, overlooking the Dropt valley, with a view across to the chateau at Duras.
Conclusion Which French Words is a language learning pack, developed from hard earned experience. It is a product that works for pretty well everybody.
